Not sure what to display on your digital parent board? You do not need to overthink it.

The best parent board content is simple, timely, and helpful. Parents are usually moving quickly, so your screen should highlight the information they need most.

Here are seven easy things to share this week:

  1. This Week’s Announcements

Share two or three quick updates that families should know right away.

  2. Upcoming Events

Add picture day, parent night, spirit days, field trips, or classroom celebrations.

  3. Menu Highlights

Feature the lunch menu or a fun snack of the week.

  4. Important Reminders

Include tuition due dates, form deadlines, extra clothing reminders, or supply requests.

  5. Birthday Shout-Outs

Celebrate student birthdays in a fun and friendly way.

  6. Staff Spotlight

Introduce a teacher, assistant, or staff member with a photo and a few kind words.

  7. QR Codes

Make it easier for parents to access forms, calendars, newsletters, payment links, or enrollment information.

The goal is not to fill the screen with everything. The goal is to make the most important information easy to see.

A good rule of thumb: if your staff has had to repeat the same message more than once, it probably belongs on the parent board.

With just a few updates each week, your screen can become one of the most useful communication tools in your center.
